Un experimento sobre el abuso de poder que ridiculiza a la sociedad chilena
“Experimento Delantal Blanco” se titula la nueva apuesta teatral de la compañía Teatro Material. Este montaje -el cuarto de la compañía (“Por Mi Pobreza!” 2005, “El Malentendido” 2007, “Oscuro Vuelo Compartido” 2008) y tercero auspiciado por FONDART-, es una revisión de la pieza corta “El Delantal Blanco” (1956) del destacado dramaturgo chileno Sergio Vodanovic (1926-2001). La obra -luego de una exitosa temporada en la Región de Coquimbo-, se presentará desde el jueves 28 en la Sala Sergio Aguirre, perteneciente a la Universidad de Chile.
“Experimento Delantal Blanco”, es una sátira sobre el abuso de poder, que se vale de métodos propios de este género como la ironía, el sarcasmo y la exageración exacerbada, para plantear de forma hilarante y corrosiva, temáticas como la lucha de clases, el arribismo y la inherente necesidad del ser humano de perseguir el poder cueste lo que cueste. Mediante lo que denominamos “Secuencias de Poder” -donde los personajes asumen sus roles de acuerdo a lo establecido como Normalidad por la sociedad-, este montaje busca reflexionar sobre dicha Normalidad y las viciadas costumbres que denota, con el fin de develar las opciones concretas que tiene el ser humano de continuar o romper con lo establecido.
SOBRE LA OBRA
“Experimento Delantal Blanco”, nos presenta a un científico obseso que desea exponer didácticamente su tesis de como el chileno sucumbe negativa e ineludiblemente antes las ansias de poder. Para esto recurre al acto teatral, instalando a dos actrices que representarán –artificiosa y lúdicamente-, una situación cotidiana y cliché entre una empleada y su patrona en la playa. La instrucción es simple, la actriz que interpreta a la patrona puede hacer lo que quiera con quien interpreta a la empleada, con la condición única de que después invertirán los roles. Lentamente, el juego de poder trascenderá la barrera de la ficción y la teatralidad. Ya no es la patrona quien goza dominando a la empleada sino la actriz sometiendo a la otra actriz, pero esta última tendrá su oportunidad.
SOBRE EL AUTOR
Sergio Vodanovic, fue abogado, periodista, dramaturgo y autor de telenovelas (Los Títeres, 1984), Fue una figura fundamental de la generación teatral de la década de 1950, junto a autores como Egon Wolff y Luis Alberto Heiremans. A través de géneros como la comedia, el drama y la farsa, y de un estilo realista, en sus textos enfrentó de manera crítica la corrupción y ciertas estructuras familiares, sociales y juveniles. La pieza corta “El Delantal Blanco”, pertenece a la trilogía “Viña: Tres Comedias en Traje de Baño” (1964). Entre sus obras más importantes destacan “Deja que los Perros Ladren” (1959) y la emblemática “Nos Tomamos la Universidad” obra taller escrita en 1969.
